If you don’t know me, my name is Kevin Martin. I figured I’d make a quick post here to share with some fellow sufferers how I ended up finding a natural cure for my acid reflux.
I’ve had acid reflux disease, heartburn and a stomach ulcer for the last 10 years. For the first 5 years or so, I tried to battle the problem with antacid products, both tablet and liquid form. They somewhat helped for a while, but it eventually got to the point where they weren’t working anymore at all.
Then I tried changing my diet. That helped a little, but the burning and nausea were still there.
After that, I started taking Prilosec. Every few months or so, I stopped taking it for a day or two, but the pain always came back and it just seemed like my acid reflux was getting even worse. I thought I was going to be stuck taking medication for the rest of my life.
I felt caught between a rock and a hard place. Either I had to live with heartburn, acid reflux, nausea, bloating and possibly cancer OR ingest chemicals for the rest of my life that caused multiple side effects. Then I found out from some doctors that the side effects from prolonged use of proton-pump inhibitors (i.e. most acid reflux medications) possibly causes stomach or throat cancers. Scary thought.
Recently, I woke up in the middle of the night with the WORST case of acid reflux I’ve ever had. I almost went to the hospital. Even though I was on Prilosec, I went downstairs to my extra stash of Rolaids, took double the dose, then popped another Prilosec. That didn’t work. I tried a few old home remedies for acid reflux. Barely helped. I was completely miserable the rest of the night.
The next day was bad, too. For the first time ever, any food I ate burned my esophagus as it went town. Even drinking water hurt. I was afraid that this was something very serious. My wife urged me to go the doctor, but I figured he would just prescribe a stronger pill, and I didn’t want that.
The next night, I was still in so much pain that I couldn’t sleep. No treatment has ever really helped much… I’ve tried diet, Prilosec, Omeprazole, Nexium, Prevacid, home remedies… nothing. It was 3:00 a.m., and my wife and I were truly afraid. I couldn’t handle being in that much pain for the rest of my life, or having to be on risky acid reflux medications. We prayed for a solution.
I went downstairs, got on the computer and googled acid reflux. I found a site: http://www.refluxremedy.com/. My first impulse: “Don’t mess with these fly-by-night guys; they’re just another money-making scam.” I kept surfing the web, but couldn’t find anything that resembled what I was looking for. I went back to the Reflux Remedy site and kept reading.
“This may be my answer.” I thought to myself. “I’m willing to take the chance of parting with a few bucks temporarily, because if it doesn’t work, I’ll get my money back.”
I downloaded the book immediately. I had one of the ingredients the book mentioned in my kitchen already. I took it, and was able to go to sleep.
The next morning, without delay, I went to the store and bought the other ingredients. I went home and immediately began following the Reflux Remedy instructions. I also stopped taking all the other acid reflux drugs I’d been taking. Slowly, I started feeling better…
No joke, in just 3 days I was totally fine. No burning, no hurting, no pain swallowing food, no stomach acid and… no medications. WOW!!!
I’ve been fine ever since. I even did a bad no-no the other night – I ate three slices of pizza 2 hours before bedtime. No heartburn; not a bit.
This is not an exaggeration. I don’t think I’ll ever have to take acid reflux medications again. I actually like using the Reflux Remedy ingredients, because not only do they get rid of my acid reflux by balancing my stomach acid levels, they help in other areas, too.
I am totally, totally surprised. I’m grateful to Barton Publications for doing the research and making the Reflux Remedy available to me.

My situation was similar to yours. I’m happy you’ve finally seen the light and took the natural approach. If only more people educated themselves we’d see a revolution. I’ve already been using natural remedies for a long time and had great results, but you’re doing the right thing here by spreading the word. I spent almost 20 years dealing with acid reflux and had bad health, so you can imagine how happy I am now!

My reflux is almost gone. I had a barium swallow a month or so ago, and just today I had an endoscopy and it revealed I have only a slight inflammation of the duodenum. My stomach and
esophagus were both clear. I credit this to Reflux Remedy. Money well spent.
I am no longer taking medicine(Omeprazole or Gaviscon). The endoscopist told me to continue my treatment since it appears to be working, at least for me. I no longer eat peppers, spicy foods, drink hardly any coffee, and I chew my food thoroughly now.

I’ve been searching for a GERD cure that works… I was actually just looking to buy some acid reflux drugs, like nexium, prevacid, or prilosec and came across your post here - I’ll go check it out.
I’m doubtful that anything natural will actually work for me, but I’m certainly willing to give a shot.

Here’s how bad my GERD was: (yes, was)
I was sitting at my desk at work and started having crushing chest pain - it was like someone was rythmically stomping on my chest. I went to my doc’s office, and he sent me right to the ER to rule out a heart attack. I was stuck there for 24 hours with wires and telemetry, MRI, stress test, etc. Awful.
This was my first official diagnosis of GERD, but I had been having such horrible symptoms long before that. Burning, misery, actual agony, even to the point of coughing constantly because I was inhaling my own acid coming all the way up from my stomach into my throat and mouth! Yes, I was actually getting stomach acid into my lungs! Turns out I had an esphogial ulcer from it, and that cushing pain was the esophagus having spasms due to the ulcer. I also had oral ulcers from the acid gurgling up in my mouth overnight.
So I tried all the usual prescription junk - none of it even worked. Protonix - nope - even at 5 bucks a pill, no help there. So I went back to OTC stuff and was taking 9 - 10 Renatadine a day, and that barely even worked. This stuff is a band-aid at best, does nothing to solve the problem.
SO, I also found Barton Publishing, much the same way you did, and Presto! Gone. No kidding. Totally healed my ulcer (which took a while) and no more GERD, which only took about a week.
It’s been about 4 years since I started this program, and I am GERD free, to the point where I don’t even have to watch what I eat, and drink a lot of coffee with no trouble at all. The results actually seem to get even better over time.
Oh, and my little added side effect from the treatment - I lost 40 pounds!
Don’t feed the Pharm machine when this treatment actually cures the problem at the source, with many happy side effects all good.

Hi I have been searching for a cure for peptic ulcer.I sometime have somuch pain that i dont sleep at night. tried nexuim,prilosec and some other treadments.i have just read about cimetidine and going to try it to see if it works.willing ato give a shot at any help at this stage.been diagnose for a year now.

I was advised by my Specialist to look up this website and learn more about Polymyaliareumatica which treatment for this desease causes acid reflux thank you for your input I am going to try to get this Reflux Remedy and see what happens

This was not an easy thing to do and you must have the mentallity and will power to stick to it.
If your health and eliminating acid reflux from your body means more to you than anyting else
that is what counts. It does take time to get rid of it but for me it was worth it how about you????????

hello i went to the doctor.he said,
i am suffering from acid reflux, my stomach burns, sometime it causes my feet to swell.
i have to take zantac often. i want to get rid of it if posible i thank you , and i will be most relief to get your cure for this acid reflux.

I have had all the examinations and still the doctors do not know what my problem is only that it is like the tightening of the esphogus ( like a tighten fist ) and then it goes away for a little while. I am just starting the testing and I am in so much pain. My symptoms started about one month ago and have progressively gotten worse. I had an upper GI barium swallow today but the results won’t be back for another two days. I have many sleepless nights however my question is: I have burning in my upper abdomen but the acid does not ever reach my throat. Could this still be acid reflux? My doctor has me taking mylanta which is my miracle drug right now and aciphex but I can’t keep taking mylanta for ever. I’ve been on mylanta for 9 days. Just today my new symptom is whatever I put in my mouth hurts my upper abdomen and I am walking around with a sore upper abdomen. Any comments would help. Thanks. I would like to take a look at the natural remedy since I am and have a very healthy person all my life up until now. Right now I am desperate to try anything.
Thanks for the information. I have had all the symptoms that you mentioned for the past 13 years. I find if I can keep myself internally healed with prevacid I get by quite well. I really doubt any non medical procedure can help me but I sure am going to give it a try. Thank you very much.
Ihave had ACID REFLUX & HITAL HERNIA for 10 years. I stay miserble. Everything i eat & drink gives me HEARTBURN. My belly stays swollen because of the acid & gas. My NERVES are shot & i stay so STRESSED, now my Heart rate stays in the 40’s. I would try anything if it would help me feel better.
I have had ACID REFLUX & HITAL HERNIA for 12 years. I stay so misserble , my STOMACH stays swollen& hard i have to drink many soft drinks to belch. I keep HEARTBURN & INDIGESTION all the time. I take NEXIUM 40MG., PEPCID 10MG., 8-10 GAVISCON & 4-5 GAS-X a day. I have pain from acid, gas, hital hernia. I even get back pain when my stomach swells & i feel like i have a softball in my stomach. Reflux Remedy system has helped me A LOT!

I have had terrible acid reflux for about 9 years now, with no relief. I have been to many doctors and they have just gave me more medicine, I have been on prilosec, protonix, as well as reglan and many others. I’m about at the end of my rope. I need help I can count on, please help.

I have suffered acid reflux for 12 years. I just had a hital hernia surgery september 2008. I have trouble with my bowels not going or going to much. Everything i eat or drink comes back up. My stomache stays swollen all then time & stays real hard, i get headaches,belch all the time,everything i eat burns my throat & esophagus. I take nexium every morning,i take 4-10 gaviscon a day,& 4-5 gas-x. nothing helps me. Now i am looking at hital hernia surgery.
I am really happy to have found this page, i am yet to check out the website. Ive been having quite a bit of discomfort. I am a singer and sometimes the uncomfort becomes difficult and gets in the way. thankyou for sharing this info i will look into it right away.
It’s been three weeks since I ordered Reflux Remedy and I am amazed at the results. I have suffered with reflux for the last eight years. The doctors put me on every PPI and H2 blocker there was. Although the products worked, the side affects were awful. I had finally resolved myself to have the Nissan surgery because my quality of life was going down the tubes.
I tried the Reflux Remedy program. I’m not longer troubled with reflux during the day or wake up with it during the night or get hit with it first thing in the morning. It’s been eight years since I’ve had any Italian or Mexican food. I finally put it to the test this weekend. There was no reflux. I’ve had no coffee or soda for the last eight years.
